Waynetown - Alice Delilah Henderson, 90 died at 6:46 p.m. Thursday May 24 in the Small Nursing Home which she entered that morning. She was a resident of New Richmond and a former resident of Waynetown, and had been bedfast 14 months.  Born March 11, 1866 in Wayne Township, her parents were Edward and EMmaline Lovelett Hall.  She was married Oct 12, 1893 to John C. Henderson, at the bride's home. As a member of the New Richmond Methodist Church, she was very active and held many offices. She was also the first worthy matron of the New Richmond Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.  She lived in the Waynetown community until 1900 when she moved to New Richmond where she resided until the day of her death. Surviving are two stepsons, Alfred of New Richmond; Paul, Fresno, Calif; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Pauline Farlow of Kokomo and two nieces.  Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Servies Funeral Home.  Mrs. John Mullen, organist, played selected hymns and the officiaint ministers were Rev. Donald Wade, pastor of New Richmond Methodist Church in which Mrs. Henderson was an active member for many years, and Rev. Guy E. Tremaine, pastor of the Wesley Methodist Church. Pall bearers were Alfred Henderson, Russell N. Smith, ML Smith, EC Smith, RIchard Shotts and Tom Oppy. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - kz
